Local residents turned out in force to Save Crossfields Green today. The Planning Inspectorate – the body making the decision on the Thames Tunnel – visited the Crossfields Green site with Thames Water to examine the impact of the planned construction. They were met by over two dozen residents who made their voice heard and demanded a rethink of the plans which would seriously damage the local community and the local environment. Thanks everyone for coming out!
The next big date for your diary is the Public Hearing on Wednesday 5th February from 8pm in Deptford Lounge. The Planning Inspectorate are keen to hear from local people; it’s open for anyone to attend and to speak if you want to. The hearing is one of the last opportunities for people to have their say. Please doe join if you can.
